Parsec provides complex high-speed PCB development services. Our experience lies with designs running at data rates in excess of 2.5Gbps.

Special attention is given to board layout techniques to allow mixed signal designs to co-exist on the same board.  Impedance matching and daisy chaining techniques are used on multi-layer boards to minimize EMI and maximize signal integrity.

Our engineering team provides complete hardware design associated with product development, including the following range of activities:

• Detailed hardware design documentation.
• Schematic capture design using Mentor Graphics tools.
• Board layouts and simulation using Mentor Graphics tools.
• FPGA design using HDL Designer.
• Enclosure design - from sheet metal to injection moulded enclosures designed to IPXX requirements using Solidworks.
• Design and development of production test equipment to test production runs of the product.
• Manufacture and qualification of prototype modules.
• Full documentation and data packs.
• Quality assurance through process driven design and reviews..

Our CAD engineers cater for all new designs and board updates and meet Parsec’s in-house and clients’ PCB design requirements.  Design and manufacturability reviews ensure that new designs are production friendly, resulting in reduced cost.  Design packages include Mentor Graphics DC/Exp PCB, PCAD 2006 and SolidWorks® 2008.
